Clinical Training Coordinator – Hannah Whelan

Hello, my name is Hannah, and I am a Registered Nurse and Trainer at the KC Skills Centre. I have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and am passionate about delivering quality training that inspires and empowers people to provide the best care.

I completed my Bachelor of Nursing at the University of South Australia in 2016 and have worked in hospital care (Adult and Paediatrics Wards, Emergency, Day Surgery) and community care for aged and disability clients with KompleteCare.

I’ve seen first-hand how the quality of the training you receive (both on the job and at university/college) can dramatically affect your confidence and ability to provide a service. My mission as an educator is to provide high-quality training that delivers the skills, knowledge and confidence to perform at your best.

I run the clinical training courses at the Skills Centre and draw on my extensive nursing and medical training to help students understand their clients’ conditions and how best to assist them. I provide plenty of hands-on practical training to enable students to confidently deliver safe, quality care that meets or exceeds NDIS and Aged Care Standards and positively impacts their clients’ lives.

I look forward to working and training with you.
